We can inform you about hikes, bicycle trails, places to swim and the most beautiful places in the area. We have different information flyers and maps which you can take with you on your daytrip, or travelguides to find the information you need.
As a guesthouse with a personal focus, we would love to help you with planning your day trips to discover Slovenia. Depending on you interests, we can give you personalized advise to make your travel experience even better.
You can find an overview of the content of our information guide and some pictures below.
- in our garden
In a hammock, on a bench with a view on the hills or with a book: we have different spots in the garden where you can relax and enjoy the nature of Slovenia.
We offer multiple hiking routes ranging from easy to difficult. The routes start at the door or close to the guesthouse. All routes starting from our house contain slopes but should be managable to hike for people with a normal condition.
- in the mountains
The guesthouse is on the edge of the Triglav National park. There are some more demanding mountain hikes which can be done in a day. If you would like to have more information regarding this subject you can send us an email.
- with a trip
You can spend your day visiting beautiful spots not too far from our guesthouse. The Tolmin Gorges, the Javorca Church, Kobarid and the Soča valley are all within a reasonable distance.
For those who are interested in wine and wine tasting: the Brda region is only an hour away from the guesthouse. Here you can find information about the wines of Slovenia and of course, taste them!
Guests who do not mind spending some time driving (2 hours or more), can visit the Slovene classics: the Postojna caves, Predjama castle, Ljubljana, Bled, Lake Bohinj and the Skočjan caves. We help our guests plan their trip and even offer possible hiking routes for every location.
A trip across the border is also possible. A visit to Venice is a 3 hour car ride away!
This region has some nice places to swim: in a river or a lake, underneath a waterfall or the visit of a modest waterpark!
- by bicycle
There are two mountainbike-trails suitable for beginners. Other trails are for the more experienced mountainbiker.
- with other sports
Like climbing, rafting, kayaking or canyoning.
